Current Health Status For Food Allergies And The Causes Of Food Allergies
Eliminating Food Allergies and Intolerances. Food allergies cause weight gain as well as other unpleasant symptoms like water retention, stomach cramps, asthma, eczema, hay fever, headaches and inflammatory bowel disease, to name a few. Food allergies can develop – but the good news is that you can also ‘desensitize’ yourself to certain, if not all, foods to which you are allergic.
We looked at allergies and their causes in, and how the immune system treats foods that do not suit the body as the ‘enemy’ and actually creates antibodies to fight the intrusion of the food in the system. The first clue to any food allergy you may have is your blood type. Even if not a full-blown allergy, regularly eating foods that are not optimal for your blood type can leave you feeling lethargic and bloated, or give you stomach cramps. For a more accurate assessment of the current health status for food allergies, however, it is best to do a proper food intolerance blood test. These are available from many clinics or health pharmacies. The important thing to remember is that any food, no matter how ‘healthy’ it may be, is poison to your body if you are intolerant to it.
